just picked up my new toy a 96 chevy tahoe with around 15" of lift 42" ltb swampers, built 383 with ford one ton axles dana 60. this thing is huge. i got some pics he sent me ill get some new ones when its clean and waxed. its almost spotless inside with leather seats and power everything. ive been drooling over this, since i seen it on craigslist.

ya alot of rigs are midgets compared to that beast. i got to drop it a couple inches so i can get it street legal. probly go to 38's and remove the body lift. should put me low enough to build taller bumpers to get it inspected. just had a freind whos been building them all his life and couldnt find anything that would stop it from being on the road other then hieght.

solid axle swap im guessing right? do the front wheels have a drive shaft to them? that thing is sweet. i couldnt even imagen how big it is up close. i have friends with 38s and they have big trail only rigs.

ya solid axle dana 60. ya fully functional 4 wheel drive. put it this way the door handles are above the roof of my caravan.

Thats a nice looking rig ya got there, mines not quite as big but gets driven almost daily so i cant go that big.

ya easy, im thinking about driving it up onto the hood of the 4 runner i got off tdgbigfoot, my kid almost has me talked into it. maybe sunday it would make for some great pictures.
