I am having troubles with my Yamaha Enticer 250 snowmobile. It runs, but the idle on the carb is rather high and I can not seem to adjust it lower. I assume there is an idler screw? It did not have this "high idle" last year and the idle screw was not touched, so I am not sure what is causing the higher idle. Thought about cleaning and rebuilding the carb. Anyone know where I could purchase a carb rebuild kit?

should be easy to find on the web...stay away from the dealer. I am guessing the choke is sticking, or you could have a lean condition due to a dirty pilot jet. I would say a good cleaning will take of these issues. I would grab a float bowl gasket and needle & seat....

Pin it till you see god, and back off just a hair!!

I need the following part for the carb:
See the link. I lost it when I was cleaning the carb.

http://www.babbittsonline.com/pages/part...amaha.aspx

enter url and then chose yamaha, snowmobile, 1980, ET250D
then chose Carb ET250C, then the schematic will come up showing the parts by number.

It's part #34 on the list at url above.

Anyone know where I could get a replacement?

Kevin

Good news....I found it while cleaning under the engine. Got it all put back together and she runs great.
