I'm supposedly getting mine in the next 5 business days. We'll see...if I had to bet I'd say it'll be three weeks yet.

Both of our dealers in Tunder Bay, Ontario have floor models. Makes the Yamaha's beside them look a little silly. Very impressive looking for sure.

My dealer got theres monday. $9400 and change before government bs. Looks nice but I have some reservations about it.

Seat and tunnel too short if riding partner/wifes sled breaks down. Very cold ride. Looks fast sitting there.

I know, I think they should find a way to make it into a 136 inch, and if you look at the foot runners there is no way for you to do wheelies, it just ends and goes right up.

i supply all the fasteners for them in the plant and get your wrenches out boys they are basicly all metric compared to most of the polaris sleds being standard. but talking to the test drivers and the people who have been driving them for the past year they really like the sleds

Thanks to all of you who are buying the the first release of such a drastic change in the snowmobile world. It will certainly make it easier on the rest of us who buy this sled in a couple years when the bugs are worked out.

Seeing as your sled is five years old,if history repeats itself, it will be fall of 2014 before you ante up so don't be a smart ass

And don't forget to thank us for keeping polaris in business and saving jobs.

Yeah I was just kidding anyway, I don't think I will be buying a rush. I like the looks of the D6 in your sig, a 136" switchback version sounds nice to me.

Agreed, especially the 2010's...walker evans suspension. That's what kept me from going long last year.

This doesn't make sense. Wouldn't the suspension on a normal sled freeze up by this logic too? The majority of the suspension on this sled is up and out of the snow as well, which should make it less susceptible to freezing up. And this will be my first winter of snowmobiling, but I've never had my ATV suspension freeze up on me, and the last few winters have been ferociously cold!

I think this sled looks awesome! I love innovation, and if I had that kind of money to be throwing around, I would definitely consider throwing down on one of these. But unfortunately, this costs over twice as much as my car did, and over 20 times what my sled did!

It kind of does, traditional snowmobiles rely on the heat exchanger on the bottom of the seat and the snow the track flips up. But, it's kind of hard for something to freeze up when it's moving as fast as suspension does. Yeah, it might ice up when it stops, and it's covered in melted snow and it's not getting any warm air, but traditional sleds are the same.

EDIT: it's also good to see Polaris doing well. When they stopped making PWCs it was a sad day. No one made pwcs like the Pro 785 or Octane.

The slx 785 was a good sled too bad they screwed the customers on the wet check.
