^^^^^I wouldn't doubt that is the cause of the leaned out cylinder on the one motor.
I wouldn't be cutting any corners with those pistons either. I looked your pictures over for a long time and I wouldn't think twice about putting new ones. The leaned out one is hooped with all the pits in it form the aluminum bouncing around, the one piston that is all covered in rusty **** I would be getting rid of it looks like it was exposed to the environment for a long long time, as for the other two I see a lot of scoring and scuffs on the scurts which would make me a little worried about putting them back in there.
