Can you help me Id the year of this pro x owner said it was an 02 just not sure if he is correct.
Anyone else notice something wrong with the suspension or am I seeing things?
Was going to be a potential buyer but after these pictures I'm not sure..

Somethings a little goofy with the suspension? Looks like the current owner hasn't had the idlers rotated in while.....
I'd probably pick it up if it was $1500 or less.

I believe it to be an '03 with the "Pro-x" decal, and you definitely want to research that damage to the radius rod

seller said it had a few dings but was ready for snow.
could be old pictures. Also said it has a pipe, and air cleaners, which makes me nervous.
I'm going to bring my Compression tester and check it out. What should I expect for good psi numbers?

anything under 125 psi would be a deal breaker unless the price was very good.

Almost appears the tunnel might be a beat tweaked...the snow flap appears to be a little cockeyed. Maybe it's an illusion. Either way that thing has been beat on pretty hard by the looks of it.

With all those bent parts I would feel like I was riding a ticking time bomb waiting for something to break or fall off. Unless you get it for dirt cheap I would stay far away from that.

Quote originally posted by motodeficient The whole bellypan is all wrinkled on the side with the bent suspension I thought so but was thinking it was just the lighting. well I passed on that sled, I asked how firm on the price he said very, blah blah this and that so.. But I did pick up a new (to me) sled tonight better pics tomorrow. It's a 99 mxzx 440 rolling chassis, New track I would say under 100 miles new. I payed 450$, picture from the ad Could use some paint and an engine but other than that it seems to be in good shape so far.
