I had this in another topic but didnt get many answers so ill try here.
I'm looking at an EPI pro performance clutch kit for my indy. The kit is for a 650 STD/RXL and i just want to confirm that it will be fine on my indy 650.
I was wondering if someone can give me brief constructions on how to take my clutch off, put the kit on, wht i should look for, and how the clutch puller works.
92 Indy 650- Powermadd hand gaurds, 3" Powermadd bar riser, Electropods, 9.5 in. windshield, EPI clutch kit, Red recoil handle.

clutch puller on the EPI website is $30 I ws wondering if i need it or sinse im just doing tis once if i can get by without it.

The right clutch puller is the first thing needed. Next you will need a clutch press to break a part primary and secondary clutches

no need for the pri clutch puller. Just take the bolt out and then slowly remove the small bolts. Place a small board or something to pry/put pressure against the cover. As the spring will be under tension.

yeah i ordered it a week ago and will be picking it up on friday, i was looking t the thing that presses them becvause it looks like their under a lot of tension but i guess a board will have to do, how hard do you have to press, are they under a ton of pressure or is it not too bad?
