Need your help guys! - I am working on coming up with a domain name but ran into a problem?... started by TRICKPaint

	The problem is someone else has the domain trickpaint.com He has a site and it looks like he does good work. I like my user name here, but may have to change it for the web site. TRICKPaint- My first name is Rick and I have a friend who calls me trick from tricksking years ago (water-sking) So I just combined my nickname with what I do for a living and it has stuck. There are some other domain names with trickpaint in the name that are available; There is trickpaintshop.com, mytrickpaint.com, trickpaintsite.com, and a few others like that!? So what do you think? Any ideas!? -Should I change my user name here and web name both? -Should I have a domain name that close to someone elses? -Should I keep my user name here and come up with totally different domain name? Van Horn Art&Design is what I have on my stickers, but that is not a very catchy domain name and it's pretty long. I'll check that one also. 	'OK trickpaintshop.com or any play on my user name is out of the question. It would just be to close to this other guys site and infringe on his domain in my opinion. vanhornartdesign.com is available? I think it should be shorter and more interesting though. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	tricks-paint-shop.com? I'm not very creative right now at this time in the morning but im sure i will be more productive/creative in a hour or two. I will continue to see what i can think of but im sure with the creativity of others here you will find a very catchy domain name. Are you registering with godaddy.com? At least that's where I was doing my searches. The price sure sounds good. Should I scoop up the .net and .info for what little more it costs? I like that idea ^ "tricks-paint-shop.com"! I'll have to get a hold of this other other guy who owns trickpaint.com and see if he would have a problem with that. looks like he does good work, but not as detailed as my work, so I really don't want to be confused with him. 	I guess I'm assuming everyone knows what I do. I want to try and have the web site up by the end of January. I do custom art and design on all kinds of things; helmets, snowmobile hoods, trailers, clothing, wall murals, etc... Most of what I do is airbrushed. 	I didnt have the need for the .info or anything else seeing as much people associate the web with a .com in my eyes. That guy really cant do anything about the domain name but it probably would be a good idea to get in touch with him so to keep everyone happy. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit
