Bill that may take $378,000 from SD trail system is a possiblity. I urge all of you in the area that ride the trails here in SD to spend 5 or 10 minutes of your time to send a letter. Look at it as getting a share of the $378,000 for spending 10 min of your time, seems like a good wage to me.
Trails out there are amazing and even in the eastern portion of the state they are good, please take the time. Its a shame to see yet another region getting hit with bad news in the snowmobile community.

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

agencys around the country are finding ways to not cut their budgets. Easiest way is to take money from the rec. groups.

Should be something like
Mr So and So
xyz St
Pierre SD
I think I misspelled the capital name but where ever the capital building is located should be the correct address. If they do it any thing like WI.

Heh, here in NY, they swiped a million out of the trail funds account to bail out some pork barrel project!!
We bitched a lot and got it back.. I'd recommend SD residents do the same.
95 - Storm 800 - Modded - AKA: FrankenStorm - Totalled near 100mph at Tug Hill!
96 - XLT/SP with Storm 800 trip/trip and now EFI - FrankenStorm II lives...
95 - RXL -- Sale Pending --
05 - Edge 800 long track - Stayin' stock for now..

Even though I may never ride there, I'll send one. Hope you guys keep the trail fund.
-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.

Still no reply from anyone, i sent them out again and got in contact with someone on the snowmobile committee. He says its highly unlikely that anything will happen but i just want to get the point out for them not to try and take money from us.
