For the past 2 years mustangnut and myself have tried to get together with other Ohio riders to go riding up here where there is snow ! I have been on facebook for a couple weeks now, and it seems like a great way to communicate in real time ! So, to that end any of you Ohio fanatics ( and for that matter any other Fanatics ) who would like to try this again, hit me up on facebook. I'm listed as Bob Magyar, I'm the one pictured doing goat surgery ! There calling for rain snow mix here Fri & Sat, so it won't be long, could be the year we've been waiting for !

Keep me posted Bob. I'm maybe 3 hours from you guys? I would come up and ride with you guys for a day! Mustangnut says you guys have a pretty solid little trail system around you. I understand it's not like Michigan or Canada, but it would be fun for a day trip it sounds like.

I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on rides up North also. I think right after New Years Day we are going to the U.P. for about 3-4 days of riding!

It's not too bad. Based on the loose predictions of the almanac it should be a good winter. For good riding around here it needs to stay cold, below 20F at least. Otherwise the trails can get a little muddy.

Polaris91 - OTC is about 40min from me. I would say it's worth it to bring your sled down if you have time to ride. I'm sure we could figure out a place to keep it. Have you figured out where you are staying? I can help point out some areas to look at and some to stay away. I remember my first winter in Cleveland I rode my ZR around Wickliffe, (suburb) you should have seen the looks on peoples faces.....priceless!

Be careful, that area around your school is not to good, High crime, low income and Kinda dark, if you get my drift ! Looking forward to riding with You !

As Far as Housing AVOID Maple Heights, North Randal, Bedford Heights,Warrensville Heights, Parts of Bedford and Garfield Heights, Cleveland ! Some good places in the Area : Solon, Valley View, Parma, Independence, Walton Hills, Northfield, Macedonia, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, North Royalton, Brooklynn. Be Carefull, better to have a 20 minute commute than to get shot. Your school is right off I-480, so you can easily get there from the entire greater Cleveland area ! Just keep in mind CUYAHOGA COUNTY IS A CESSPOOL ! I avoid Cleveland ;ike the plague, but if I do go there, I always lock my doors ! I would also add Willoughby, Eastlake, Willoughby Hills, Wickliff, Mentor to the GOOD List.

PS. You are welcome to keep your sled at my Place !

Look into the Wickliffe and Willoughby Hills area. Check out Pine Ridge apartments in Willoughby Hills. They may not have partners with OTC but it is a much better area and a quick 15min ride to school and a 25min ride out to where I'm at.

Jamestown in North Olmsted would be the nicest area, Brooklynn would be closer, more to do in Parma, and I agree with Nate willoughby Hills would be best, as long as you observe the posted speed limit !

Pine Ridge is nice because it's seriously less than a minute to I-90 which you can hop on and get to school. Plus you have fast food close by. Everything you want would be close. Groceries are right across the street. I drive by the apartments everyday on my way to work.

Dang either I slept in too late or we didn't get anything in my neck of the woods. I remember waking up early to look out the window but I couldn't see much because it was too dark.
