Im going to email dave tomorrow at Rave X and see if this winter I can hit his ramps. I know I told myself I wouldn't touch an IQ, but I may have found a 440/600 for cheap.
Why wouldnt u buy an IQr? they are the best sleds for this sorta thing (well or the new snopro). You said ur wanted a prox earlier...the IQr is 100 times the sled those are. You seriously shoulda stuck with the 440 rev u had way back when, better sled then all the zr, snopro, fusion, mxz etc etc sleds u bought since then! Just ride a sled before counting it out, in the IQr's case it will take some getting used to but it is hands down the toughest chassis on the snow.
Make sure you ask them if they are willing to push the ramps in close for you, you will die if you think ur gonna hit even just a 35 ft ramp gap given the level of experience u have. Not to discourage you im just saying not to get in way over your head, start jumping some stuff that size before moving to a ramp setup with consequences for comming up short or overjumping. My advice is build a snow jump to ramp specs in an area where there isnt huge consequences for commin up short and get your timming down, same thing i did and it helped alot.
Better to be safe and start small then ruin yourself riding way over your head.
