is there a way to raise the track of my sled, to make it look a little better? just a easy and cheap way to raise the back a little, i just think it would look a little better.
not a lot, maybe just 1-2 inches. my sled just seems a little low in the back.
Bambi would have been a better and shorter movie if he was shot in the beginning with his mother
if a ride on lawn mower takes bumps better than your sled, its time to upgrade

Yes, its called a drop bracket. It won't give you any more actual travel, and will make your sled handle worse. Where your back suspension bolts in, in the far back mounts, it either bolts to your tunnel, or right below your tunnel. You put drop brackets in there. Some sleds have a spot where you can drill out, others you have weld a plate into place. I wouldn't recommend doing it.

A drop-bracket helps short tracks in the powder. Your ass end of the track is higher from the tunnel which helps with snow removal. Other then that...it just makes your sled tipsy at high speeds. Don't weld your drop-bracket if your going to mount one. Eventually, your drop-bracket will crack from all "bump" being put on it...it'll be a bitch to get off. Rivets are the way to go.

Listen to those who posted earlier. Don't do it. Tipsy at high speeds is just not a good thing. Leave the sled as is. Looks are not everything. Your life and safety of you and those around you are. And if you do chose to ignore what has been posted please purchase somethinga and don't make your own.

Quote originally posted by 87srvsnow ya i guess your right. ill just have to deal with it until i can afford a nicer sled I agree with everyone here, your sled is what it is. Leave it as is, and when the time comes, step up to something newer. Until then, enjoy it!
