I've ben doing a lot of thinking about this winter. I'm hoping to get tons of sledding in whenever I can, wherever I can. I want to snowmobile to school as much as I can (trails go to school and my school is about 20 mins from my house), stay at the cottage on weekends and sled there. I want to get a few friends together and go up north and rent some sleds either over Chrismas or in the spring. My sled broke last year and I only got 400 miles on it, so I want to make up for that.

So my question to you is, Got anything big (or small) planned?

Plan on riding around here. Do a couple brunch runs to Grand Casino, My dad and I might take a ride from home(central MN) to Crane Lake(near MN Ontario border)near 250 mi. Ride around the area for the day and head back. Rode to work a couple of times but not any more due to work schedule and not wanting to ride in the dark alone.

-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.

I want to setup a group from our high school so we can all ride together. I know a couple people with sleds and I think it would be fun to ride with more than 2 people.

Plan on doing at least one U.P. ride and a couple big rides North of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Maybe another ride in Northern Michigan or N.Y.

I should really try to make it to N.Y. or I'll never hear the end of it from ACM:)

Im hoping to do a lot of riding here if we have snow. My brother and his friend are going up north around Christmas so im gonna go with them. My buddy is getting a sled so ill have somebody else to ride with, but first i have to teach him how to ride. Other then that ill be working on my brothers barn and maybe building a nice garage/shop here. Plus im sure ill be cutting and splitting firewood.

I'm hoping to ride to my uncle's camp at Sugarloaf, then spend a day in Canada. Other than that just ride around Jackman. We have about ten people at our school that commute by snowmobile, it's a 45 min run for me but I'm going to do it as much as possible.

Yes. Queerland was what it was called for the first year....and that's what it's referred to in THC 6.

My plans are to drive to school a couple of times this year do some boondocking next to the school I want to spray kids with snow that wear shorts and t shirts to school when it is freezing out. Not to hijack a post or anything is it ok to run my sled with out a snow flap? because my heat exchanger are under the boards and was just wondering if it would be ok to run it with out the Flap?

My plans are to ride to school everyday the trails are open. Mess around on the lake I live on and try to make some more little hillclimbs. Rip down the trails with my dad. Make a ramp on the lake and plow a lot the snow into the landing for a nice huge landing zone for safe measures. Go to a couple mx tracks that are close by. Try some freestyle.

I was thinking about riding around on the lake my cottage is on too. If it gets cold enough.. and I onlt have one hill near me thats good for hill climbing. It isn't the greatest hill but it gets pretty challenging when theres 3 feet of fresh powder.

If it snows like it did last year I'll put on a lot of mile around here, there's some pastures about 5 miles north of town with some pretty steep hills for hillclimbing. They should be fun as long as the wind doesn't blow 100 MPH and make the snow hard. Then in late feb. my dad and I and some relatives from MN are planning on going to West Yellowstone MT for a week, that will be fun!!

The plan that I developed last year, is to put a thousand miles per winter on my sleds..

Since I had a season ending injury 2 weeks in, that ended last winter at 165 miles, I have a lot of miles to make up for this winter...

95 - Storm 800 - Modded - AKA: FrankenStorm - Totalled near 100mph at Tug Hill!
96 - XLT/SP with Storm 800 trip/trip and now EFI - FrankenStorm II lives...
95 - RXL -- Sale Pending --
05 - Edge 800 long track - Stayin' stock for now..
---------------------------------------------
It made me more compassionate, more empathetic, more nurturing...

I have hundreds of miles of local trails leaving from my backyard. I know them well after my 3rd winter of snowmobiling, but I want to know where every last trail is and goes after this winter. Also need to take a lot more pictures this winter. I realized this summer it would have been nice to look back at pictures from the previous season. I only took a few last year. I've got a new digital camera and will be taking tons this year!

My plan is to ride a lot his winter with my dad and cousin. But, since the economy isn't the greatest, i'm not sure how it will turn out. I will also probably go up north a lot by myself when I get a car. I will probably be finding some new good boondocking spots and some nice jumps. I also might meet up with some guys from HCS and ride some sick spots with them.

if you run without a flap you are gonna get hot. 1 purpose of the flap is to keep snow under the tunnel to cool the exchangers, as well as to keep you from shooting s**t at the guy riding behind you.
