Nice! I have not even been out bird hunting this yr,iv been going out bow hunting every night though.

yeah we were... there was 3 sloughs all around us. one to the right, one to the back of us and one off to our left

yeah this was the first time for me too. been out pheasant hunting once and shot the only one i saw too.

Awesome, one of the best sports out. I went opening weekend with two other guys around here and we limited out in the first 45 mins. Those lay down blinds are sweet.

was near the devils lake area. where exactly at i have no idea. my buddy is from the area and he took me wit him. i just know there was lot of out of state hunters and alot of shooting going on both days.

yeah those are good days. we were done in under 2 hours. but we laid there and just too see how close we can get the ducks into the decoys. ground blinds are nice... when waiting u can fall asleep and they are pretty comfortable

My buddy and a bunch of other guys are leaving for Devils Lake Friday. He tells me every year that I just have to go. LOTS of ducks. Some day I will have to take him up on it.

yes u will have to do that, worth the experience!!!
only thing that sucks is getting up at 4:00 am to get to your field and set up b4 sunrise.

My buddy is leaving tonight. Showed my some pictures from last year. WOW!!
I will have to talk with my financial advisor. I don't have all the gear to hunt like that. The little I do is pond/field hunting. Mainly wood ducks and geese.
Getting up early really doesn't both me. Doing it for a week straight might be a grind though.
