help needed to decide how to stud my track, ive purchased 144 woody,s gold digger studs with 60 degree carbide, and bought 2 stud boy 9"dooly's for the skiis(60 degree)....i like the woody's 144 template for studding the track, however it shows studding every other spot on the outside of track edges...in your opinions by studding the outside of the track,as well as inside,is this desirable for traction in general trail and field riding,im an aggressive rider, but just curious of how it will handle in the turns,as well as on hard packed(studding inside vs. outside)...let me have em(your opinions please)....sled is a 2006 polaris fusion 600 h0 stock sled(approx 120 horsepower)./.thanks

I have a 07 iq 600cfi w/120 down the center. It hooks up pretty good for 120. I used a woody's pattern that is used for 120 or 144 down the center.

I'm no expert on stud patterns, but for trail riding down the center is the way to go.

They had you put those that close to the hole? If I was a betting man I would say those are the first to rip out. Quote originally posted by sledneck1978

The Woody's template I have has an option for 144 down the middle. Sorry the picture doesn't show much but I just studded it this weekend.
