I'm looking for a newer sled for my 9 year old he has a 120 now and wants to start trail riding with me. But there doesn't seem to be any junior sleds out there in between the 120 and full size sleds. any ideas?

Here are a few links to a company called Premier Recreational Products which makes sleds which are trail worthy and sized between a 120 and full sized machine. I have seen them at multiple Snowmobile shows this fall and seem to be of excellent quality and finish. Definetly worth a look.

The link should bring you to a gallery of 7 or so pictures of it. You live on the other side on the country though. I'm in Salem, NH.

HI WE HAVE RECENTLY PICKED UP THE PREMIER LINE OF SNOWMOBILES WHICH ARE MADE FOR PEOPLE 4 FOOT TO 5'6.. THEY ARE 4 STROKES WITH REVERSE AND ELECTRIC START. COOL DESIGN, AND THE OBVIOUS STEEPING SLED FROM THE 120 'S TO THE FULL SIZE MACHINES... THEY ARE JUST COMING ONTO THE MARKET BUT SO FAR THEY LOOK AWESOME, AND THEY ARE MOSTLY AMERICAN MADE. THEY COME IN 200 OR 300 CC MODELS AND ARE PRICED BELOW 5K FOR A BRAND NEW SLED. SOMETHING TO CONSIDER FOR SURE.

go with the premiere. A because they are kind of rare and they are fairly cheap. B because im sure you could almost resell it for what you bought it for.

Depending on how big he is, you could look at yamaha phazers. They are 485cc and fan cooled. They are light, very reliable, and practically bullet proof. Defiantly something to look at.
