That secondary has washers that need to be added to spread the secondary sheaves,

They are p/n's 9 and 10

Look up the drawing here

9 WSHR-1.505X2.00X.030-Y

10 WASHER-1.5X2.0X.020-Y
7555898 $0.60

I don't understand why It grabs now though after you changed the track.

Did you remove the chain case to take the drive shaft out?

If so you may have moved or cocked it changing the secondary clutch position.

If you removed the secondary you may not have it aligned with the primary. Either of these items could cause the belt to drag.

If you changed the belt it may need to be stretched or it may be a little shorter or a little wider. ( especially if it is an after market belt).

Adjusting the sheave spacing means dissassembling the secondary.
Could also be a weak or broken secondary spring.

Idle rpm's, a weak primary spring, warn bushing, worn weights on the primary could also make the primary engage early or not totally open.

Just changing the track typically should not have caused this.

Now if the track is turning slightly while you have the rear of the sled elevated with the track off the ground, it could be that you now have the track looser than what it was or aligned better.

With the sled sitting on the ground if it doesn't move I would not worry about it, unless the belt is squealing.

Does it grab and try to move when the sled is on the ground, or does the track spin when the rear of the sled is in the air?

Sounds like you missed one of the shims when you put the secondary back on and the clutches aren't aligned.
