Hi, I have a question. I have a 1993 XCR 440 and i'm rebuild it right now. I look some picture of a 1998 xc 600 and i'm was questionning my self about to put the exhaust of the xc600 on my 440. i want to know if it will be a better tune pipe ? because here we cannot put pipe in trail and i looking to do a little rocket with what i have. THANKS

It'll be a different tuned pipe, and if I remember correctly the 98 600s were trips.

Definitely won't work on your 440 if that's the case.

98 xc 600 was a twin motor. The xcr's were triples, and i think they also made a triple xcr in 97. Either way, no that pipe will NOT fit nor work right at all. Aside from not working good on it, that pipe is huge compared to the stock fuji pipe. The inlet is so much bigger in size, as well as the whole pipe is alot bigger.

The 440 pipe is not the same as the xc 600. The pipes are the same for most of the xc, rmk etc 600 and 700 motors in 98 wedge and gen2 chassis.

And, if you are seeing a pipe looking even close to how the 600 pipe is, that would be the 98 or so xcr 440 which agian has a completely different motor than your 93 xcr. The motors that look like that above pic is a liberty motor, and the ones in the older sleds are fuji motors. Completely different.

Long story short, It dont work ha..

westman995 nailed it on the head. each pipe is specifically tuned (from polaris) to the motor. my friend used an xlt pipe on 650, and even though it fit, he burned down his sled twice and had no idea why. but then again he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer haha
