I have no idea what the "right job" for you is. I like my job actually. I work construction. We do concrete, curb and gutters, flat work, driveways, approaches. I love being outside. The rain doesn't bother me much unless we got "mud" on the ground. It is an easy way to keep in shape and it pays well. I get late fall, winter and half of spring off.
30 years in the union and I will be out with a retirment package. SO at 57 I can retire.
You have to pick a job/career you will be happy with, no one can do it for you.

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

anything in the computer field is bound to be a good field to get into, computers drive todays society in more then one way.

If you go back to school, reread pigboy's advice. Keep your focus on the learning!! Just keep in mind, all work and no play....will make you a dull boy indeed. You will need some time to relax. Just keep it real. You willbe there to learn.
Hell, I wish I had listened to this advice back when I was your age!!!!
By the way, I am in the Supply management field-2 yr technical degree but could get a 4 year. Specifically, I am a production plannner. I like that the days are somewhat similar but not entirely. My day is like putting a puzzle together and then having the cleaning crew come in and scramble the pieces when I leave. Or stealing a piece-then I have to get "creative" and make my own puzzle piece.
Find the line between respect and fear....then flirt with it

Oh Im pretty much done my partying days. Been drinking too long and now its just boring. I prefer to be playing the music at a party then actually partying.
Thanks guy this is actually helping quiet a bit. My career advisor at school used to say I should get into something with computers but I didnt want my full time job to be about computers since it is like my second favourite hobby (snowmobiling number 1 obviously )so i didnt wanna ruin that by working on them all day and coming home and not having anything to do.
If you cant fix it with duct tape, tylnol, or band aids your screwed.

All I can say is stay away from the live music and performing arts industry. You'll get you ass handed to you left and right (physically and verbally/mentally) for less than minimum wage and no benefits. Sure, it's fun about 2-3 hours a day, the rest is headaches, soreness, and ego-stroking.

Born to Fertilize..
mackinsaw Thinks it's mighty convient for the neighbor to wait untill there's snow on the ground and to ask me if I would do him a massive favour and cut his firewood for the winter for money as he is incapable. Dang I got some work cut out for the next few days.

I'm going to get my heavy equipment operators lisence at the begining of January and thats always been a job I'd absolutly love to have. All the jobs I've been on I'm out there in the cold and mud and working my ASS off and I see guys sitting there in a heated doser or excavator making double my salary to sit there and pull levers. I'm good at operating equipment and always have been and the guys running the equipment are making more than the roughnecks and techs that wrench on it so I'd be stupid not to go for my heavy equipment operators lisence, espeically with unemployment helping me pay for it. But thats my passion, not saying I'd do it forever, I'd like to be a cop later on in life or re enlist in the Army and see what happens but I want to board the money train thats striking gold in northern Alberta right now!
