F chassis S Chassis - parts started by bjavers

Whenever I look for parts they seem like they say F series or S series chassis first of all does anybody know where i could find a listing of what is what.

I have a 1995 Form stx LT 583, and a 1997 Summit 500, any idea on these?

The formula should be F chassis and the summit would be S chassis. You can tell by the hoods.

so are the ck2 chassis like a updated f chassis?


yup the summit is the s chassis and form is f chassis

the f and s is the same chasie
the F is older and runs the ck2 rear suspension

the S has the SC-10 rear, and have changed the belly pan and hood, but is basically makeup put on the F, with many GOOD improvements in wieght, suspension and looks........yes you can make you F an S easily

Yes, and there was alot more travel with the sc10 / and lighter
