Yeah, I pretty much knew the answer....I just needed some re-assurance! If it happens it will be a 136, sorry Drew! I have a few things to sort out and I will be going after it soon. We are extending a friends sled sooner so I will get to experiment with his!!! Thanks for all the opinions as they are all valued. XC rider08...what track is that on your sled?

Are you talking about using rail extensions or putting a longer skid in it? A short skid with rail extensions won't perform anything like a longer skid. If you're going to go to all the trouble of changing to a longer track, I would put an Xtra Lite or Edge 136 skid in it (actually I would go with a 144, but I like to ride in deep powder).

When you consider the cost of rail extensions, you can generally make out cheaper replacing the skid and selling your old skid (less money in the long run and better performance to boot).

I bought an Xtra Lite and an Edge skid and used long tracks during summer months for great deals, and I just sold the 121 and 133 tracks and skids that I took off for about the same as I paid for the long skids and tracks that I bought in the off season.

That is a good point, however it may be late in the year to be scoring deals. I'll check around. And yes as of now if I do this it will be a kit from TracksUSA. I don't want a used track unless it is a nice take-off. Just too much work to put a questionable piece on.....

Make sure you give Kens Sport a call out of Wisconsin there Kevin, I think the ebay handle is KSI sports. I purchased my Ripsaw for less than anyone on the planet could offer. Now with that said, when you going to make our eyes go "big"? Or do I have to come out to NY and do the '99 XC700 and do it myself!!!!

Dennis, don't you worry, I'll get her going....I had a bad year last year but this will happen. Cyl. is going to Millenium Thursday and pistons will be ordered asap. Thank you much for the offer! I thought TracksUSA had a good thing with their kit....NO???? I will shop around and see if I can do better. My buddy got the one for the Yammi for just over $700 shipped....I haven't seen the stuff to opinionate it so I don't know.

And seriously, I must suck at E-bay cuz I can't ever find sh!t on there...point me in the right direction!!!
