Hello everyone, I pop up every fall to say hello, I was with my cousin yesterday and hen picked up a 2009 leftover ski doo e-tec renagade and i was very very impressed with the fuel mileage and oil counsumpsion. Now I am thinking of trading up for better fuel mileage and overall the tech!! My pro-x 2 700 has 2010 miles with 144 double digger studs, v-force reeds and a MBRP CAN......What do you think a trdae would get me, I want to stay polaris and go for the switchback but ski doo has my eye as well
Thanks

try KBB.com you can at least find the blue book value for your sled, retail and trade in. But remember that is a generalization on the price cuz condition and aftermarket products can change the price.

You might be better off trying to sell it because you will not get as much if you trade it.
-To ride or not to ride, what a stupid question!
-You should never judge a guy until you have walked a mile in his shoes, then you are a mile away and have his shoes
-Ice, snow, or grass, I'll still kick your ass.

Thanks for the replys guys I looked into kbb before and was wondering if anyone had one of these little monsters [pro-x2 700] and sold it off and what they got for it. This sled rocks and rails the trails like nothing I have had before, Just not made for top end only ripping the bumps and ripping the trails, Thanks agian!

Pro-x2's are getting rare since they were only made 1 year. (all pro-xs are getting rare for that matter). You should have no problem getting $3500 with a clean sled during this time of year. I have the regular pro-x 700 and have been offered 3,300 if that tells you anything. One thing i will say is that you are going to miss that sled once you sell it. Like you said, its an incredible machine, and was way ahead of its time In my honest opinion.

Well looks like at this time its going out for sale privately first starting at $3500 with 2100 miles and will talk from there, I will miss this ol girl without question. At 46 years old its an butt kicker on my back and the main reasion I bought it is I wanted to really get a sled that was built off of the snocross sleds!! This sled allways did what I asked it to do whenever I snepped the throttle!!!!!!!! here is a vid after the reeds were installed and the MBRP TRAIL CAN

If it was 2010 I'd be all over this sled. Looking to upgrade after this season.... Hold it for me??

I disagree, fuel milage yes cfi the whole sled is overworked with new designs, I am going for the longtrack as well, They have more HP as a bunch of other little gooddies too. Plus I need to keep up with the technolegy and times!!

I think upgrading to a new sled, there will be a difference, however its not as great as one would think. The pro-x was way ahead of its time in terms of chassis/suspension. Hell, polaris to this day uses a variation of the pro-x suspension. The IQ rear suspension is very, very similar to the pro-x one, its essentially the same thing with a few things changed of course. Rider forward position will be your biggest change.
EDIT: also, sleds are still very barbaric in their design especially compared to bikes and other vehicles. Not much has changed, they still will break down just as much as your pro-x(which isnt a lot compared to most other sleds), and will probably have more issues due to new technology with many bugs still needing to be worked out.
