Hey guys, today I was pumping some grease into the suspension on the 440 (had quite the squeak in it) and went to pump some grease into this one nipple and later discovered it was stripped as well as the whole that it screws into (bad knowledge). What is the best thing to do now? Take the shaft out and just smother it in grease? Put a heely coil in it? Weld a new grease nipple to the spot where it is suposed to screw in? Any help would be much appreiciated!
Thanks, Devin.

Oh, another question, would it be possible to put a pressure fitted grease nipple into its place?
Yet another question, I can only find four grease points in the suspension, are there really only that many? Also where they pressure fitted in the first place? How am I suposed to grease the jackshaft too, do I have to remove the clutch to get the grease gun in there?

Pics? Without the zerk there snow and water are going to get in through that hole so it really won't matter how much grease you smother on the shaft.

Some of the zerks just press in, but if you wanted you could take the shaft out, retap the hole and put a new zerk in. Greasing the jackshaft, you will need to pull the clutch at least part way off and get a gun in there, is there a zerk, or just a hole? On my 95 xcr there was just a hole and I had to use a needle for a gun on it.

Well there was a zerk in it until I pulled it out by mistake.

Well guys, I went back into the garage to fool around with again and I'm positive that it was threaded and both the zerk and the hole that it screws into are stripped. Would it be possible to put a pressure fitted one in its place or are there other options? Here are some pictures that may help:
Original grease nipple on the right and a new threaded one on the left.
Same picture as the first one.
Where the nipple is supposed to go (little hump sticking up in the middle of the two bars).
Same picture as the third.
My camera is kinda crappy so it wouldn't focus and show that were threaded.
