I am rebuilding my double wide tilter. i Am replacing the axle because the current one is bent. i Bought alll new tires, which are wider then my old ones, so i need to find a new spring center measurement for when i order my new axle. The current spring centers are 53", that leaves me with 1" of clearence between the springs and tires. The axles come with 48" centers(3.5" clearence), which seems a little narrow doe a 8' wide trailer. should i get them moved out a little wider? what are your springs centers on your sled trailer?

If i remember correctly i think you are looking for weight bias on the front of at least 10% of the trailer gross weight a bathroom scale work well

thanks for the reply, but i am looking to find how wide the springs should be apart(spring centers) on the axle. i dont plan to move the axle forward or back.
