I decided to build my colt into a grass darg sled, because there are all kinds of them around me. What do I need to do other than lower the rear susp., jet it, and shed weight.

windsheild is cut, short seat, ground backside of the hood to save weight, took all but the single leaf spring out, I am planning on a smaller gas tank, but don't know where to look. I also removed all bumpers, trim and emblems. What is the best set up as far as skis go? I saw some last weekend that were cut in half

You better get a copy of the rules before you rip into it much more.

I guess you would be running in a vintage class? You may find you must keep it stock for the most part? I don't know, but if your at all serious about this, I would be getting in touch with those racing organizations.
