i just took mine out and soaked them in a little container with gas in it over night, mooost of it just came off and whatever else that was left i just picked it off with my fingures and a shop towel

just dont use anything that can scratch, dont use steel wool or a screw driver , if u have to use something use a piece of plastic or maby like a sliver of wood, the smallest scratches will make it collect more
