If it works sure. My fil gave me an old homelite 510 and a Mac 45 or 47. They are beasts.

Post in the sale/trade thread on arborist site. Someone there might have one. Also keep checking ebay. I needed a coil for a jonsered 510 this summer and had a hard time finding one. Eventually I found a whole parts saw on ebay for pretty cheap. A lot of guys that post on arborist site have their own chainsaw shops so they may have something sitting around

How about going to a husky dealer??? years ago/maybe even now they were the same saw. Kinda like moto-ski and ski-doo back in the late 70's/early 80's.

all parts are interchangable they are the same thing except for the price

My grandpa has a jonsered and the recoil got messed up over the summer so we just brought it to the local honda dealer and they fixed it up. I think the bill was around $50. I dont know what model it is or anything tho.

As long as you can still bolt on another one you will be fine try the site i listed. A shop i used to work at sold them man they are mean saw i love them over stihl anyday!
