Okay i really want to get a new sled these are my options I'm considering.

2004-2006 arctic cat f7
2004-up rev 600, 500ss or 800
2003-up rx1 yamaha or apex.

Im not to sure on the rev idea tho unless its really low miles because ive heard alot of bad about there mills but i love there body styles. I ride alot of trails and like speed, play in the pow a bit and like to carve alot, jump a bit but nothing extreme. They are all about the same price around here so thats a non issue. Any suggestions more then welcome.

1995 Polaris xcr 600

Plastic skis (purple)----------------------------Coolant heater
Skid plate---------------------------------------DG Silencer Can

Sportech headlight and tail light covers (purple)
Runing board trim (purple)
Studs (purple backers)

All of those are great options. I have a 07 mxz Rev 500ss and I LOVE IT. The difference between that platform and my old 2000 was unreal. It rides so much better and is much more responsive. The 500SS is also a very solid engine. I have had zero issues with it. So I would say go with the REV. Just my .02 Let us know how it goes.

Doing the type of riding you do I think the RX-1 is not the sled for you....nasty and fast but heavy and not for throwing around. It sounds as though you need a Rev....or a newer IQ!

Polaris...it IS the way out!

I have ridden all 3 of those chassis'. The F-chassis is great, and feels smooth and free flowing on the trails when set up for your weight. The RX-1 is the closest newer sled you'll get to a traditional sit-down style as it get's. The Rev on the other hand, is far from sit-down only, but is a great sled if you stand up and sit down a lot. It takes a little while to get used to it, but once you are used to it, it's the best thing since decrusted sliced white bread.

The firecat might trench a bit off trail with the 13.5 track. But that would still be my pick from what you have listed. The Rev will be nice but its down on power a lot from the F7 and RX-1. Although you should take the RX-1 off your list and not even consider it.

F7 140 HP
RX1 150 HP
500ss 105 hp

Id deffinitly go with the MXZ. I never liked yamaha because of the weight, get stuck and your basically pooped. Never rode an f7 but i know the chassi/riding style is not as comfortable as the mxz. The mxz engines are very powerfull, chassis are strong, shocks are great, the riding position is comfortable, just the technologie itself of bombarider is great.

The RX-1 has closer to 140 hp not 150. If I was in your position I would get the RX-1. But from what you said you wanted get anything but the RX-1.

The 500ss has 105-110hp, the 600 H.O. has about 120, and the 800 is upwards of 135-140. The power to weight ratio IMO is the best stock with the Rev. The Rev is snappy, where as the F7 has more top end than low end. Either one is a great upgrade over your current sled.

no polaris on the list? a pro-x or x2 or an IQ would suite you well as well.

The rev's are alos very nice though.

Personally, I would go with one of the Yamaha's, when my dad got laid off a few years ago he worked at a Yamaha dealership and all he heard was good things about them.

F7, Awesome power to weight ratio.

Same here x2
I don't personaly like the way the ski doos ride.
The yamiis are nice for drag racing. lol
I just think the f7 has amazing power with a small amount of weight.
They feel right at home when you sit on it.
plus you can throw them around easily.
