I noticed that last year when i took out my phazer that snow was accumulating in the front when i rode through powder. Snow would accumulate like a plow does anyone know if the floatation plates acctualy make a difference??

I also need to know how to drain out the coolant on the plazer, the day i pick it up from the dealerahipwhile i was riding it would overheat so i cheaked out the coolant level, i was low like none left in the resavoir so i had to add water, i an wanting to chang the coolant since its mostly water now

Not sure on the flotation plates. I don't have them, but if you're talking about the skid plates that mount to the bottom of the A-arms, I can't see why they wouldn't make a pretty significant improvement.

On the coolant issue, did the coolant actually boil out? Mine overheated for a while until I fixed the problem, but I never lost any coolant. If you lost a whole reservoir of coolant in one ride with no visible leaks, you may have bigger problems. As far as draining the coolant, I believe there is a drain plug on the bottom of the block, but I'm not sure. Your dealer should be able to tell you, or search over on TY http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewforum.php?f...a9660ae3ac You should be able to find out how to drain the coolant on there.

I beleive that the dealership simply dident add enough coolant since once i added water i rode another 500 KM on my trip and was fine with the coolant level but it kept overheating. What did you do to fix your problem? i just want to have the proper ratio not to have it freeze up its cold in canada. When you say block you mean the engine block?

And they are actual flotation plate they seem to look liek they would make a difference i just dident want to spend a lot of money for that i think looks like something that might work.

Nevermind, i found a service manual it says to simply disconnect the radiator hose they should have installed a drain plug on the bottom of the radiator...
