Finally letting the cat out of the bag, eh Darin? I see you're going for that new light-weight design! We'll see how that works out for ya!

A mountain lion roaming the prairie found a bull, killed it and ate the entire bull. With a heavy belly, unable to walk, the lion laid in the tall grass moaning and roaring. Soon a hunter, attracted by the roaring, shot and killed the lion.

Decided against doing a hood wrap...Off to Paint...Trick you have mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the Build its starting to take shape, And just about ready to start putting back together...Hopefully. Drop and roll should be done by the weekeend, then can start re-assembly of all that parts that were removed to do that. Rear skid is about done...Waiting on MMP for wheels...Surprise, Surprise, somethings never change!! I have my flatland track (Cobra) and will be installing that , camo ext 2.5 is coming for the steep and deep! A few other small vents and things to purchase but i think the major spending is done. Now just wait for parts to trickle in and put back together. Should be all together by thanksgiving...minus the hood as that got shipped out to paint today. More pic's coming!!! Thanks

Have you ridden this sled bofore? how does it compared to the IQ? Im supprised you switched, was it just to try another project? Lots of good progress by the way. I wish i had the money to do that sorta stuff. Id love to build a circle track mod or a grass drag mod.

Just as I was getting used to recognizing you a mile up the LTV powerline I have to start all over again
It's all about the ride to get there, the destination doesn't matter!

Darin, Do the sides of the hood set down in a well like 1/2", or is the whole side exposed? Just wondering if I need to account for any cover up where it seats with the side panels.

I'm think 99.9% of the side is exposed and hood rests in a very small lip on the side panels.

This was gently used 2009 Assualt with 750 miles on it, with motor updates done. I didn't buy it in pieces, but as most know, i don't like stock......So I had to tear into it.
I should have more pic's this week, as a few parts go in for powder coat tomorrow!! I hopefully can start to put it back together this week once the drop and roll kit is done, along with the better boards installed. Then just wait for MMP to get me my wheels...some things never change!!!!! Stay tuned......
