i am trying to find out how to read serial numbers, i am trying to figure out if a sled is what the owner says it is, but i am a little skitish about this guy...he dont seem like he even knows how to ride it....
how could i read a serial number to find the;
year
engine
chassis
ect...
thanks

sorry almost forgot, that link doesnt have any numbers or anything, just tells you which digits mean what

look on the side of the tunnel there is usually a tag that tells you the year and then the VIN is usually stamped in!
