Curious what people's opinions are regarding MBRP can for polaris xlt triple? It's the only one I can find that will fit the aggressive hood style and it's the race version. Share your knowledge regarding the pipe if you would. Thanks

The dg can will fit it i seen an aggressive sled with one on it. Personally i hate the mbrp sound on the xlt or xcrs...they crackle to much the dg can is crisp.

Trust me.....You don't want to ride in WI with a MBRP race can. Pretty sure its about $135 fine.

Thanks,

Yeah, I have totally decided against the mbrp, so you think the dg will be okay to not piss off everyone and still be worth the money?

indeed that mbrp is a piece of crap, had it on my xlt too, in the aggressive chassis. you think of slp? i haven't heard a DG can tho. but they look nice. good luck finding one tho, i hear they've become rare.

How did you like your xlt special? I just bought it and am itching to get it out on the trail. Thinking of putting a clutch kit on it (erlandson). Maybe exhaust. So, you think if I get a dg can it would fit the aggressive chassis even if its for a wedge?

MBRP can on my 99 XCR 700 is sweet. I think the best sound is the sno-stuff rumble pack on an SRX 700 but they don't make it anymore for the XCR.

i liked it, was pretty good on the trails. we have mostly open space where i live. almost lost my life tho one time, broke my leg was out in the tundra for about 5-7 hrs. had no help, but someone found me. i'm very lucky to be alive. anyway that's another story. clutch kits will help alot. i'm not so sure if a wedge mod will fit the aggressive chassis, you might have to relocate your exhaust hole. i'm sure someone had to give it a try. good luck with it tho!

the xlt? well slp and few other companies had some. both for the wedge and aggressive chassis, i'm not sure about the triumph that was in the gen II chassis. but stock, the xlt came with a single pipe.

^that's the same kind of xlt i had a few years back. got a cobra mid height shield for it tho, power domes, fox shocks all way round. one thing tho, didn't like the seat, tore in the middle. really good ride tho. was strong.
