My 1999 mxz 600 oil pump went out a few years ago. I then rebuilt top end, and starting premixing 50:1. I still have the pump and everthing intact. Im just wondering if there is a line the goes to the crank bearings? I just want to make sure if I can continue running it like this.

my buddy took his oil pump off years ago and runs premix, he just blocked off the oil pump hole with a plate

Oh yeah you should be good to go. They actually make kits to block off the oil injection. All that oil goes right into the cylinders anyway

My sled asks for 32:1 when running race fuel. Last year I just bought it so I ran 32:1 with pump gas. You should be fine with a little less oil than that.

When in question run a little extra oil. I'd rather change a few plugs then a piston and bearings

Thats what I was going to say but didn't want to be responsible if I was wrong and your sled blew up.

32:1 or 40:1. 50:1 is to little oil imo.

for the block off kit, all you have to do is get a piece of sheet metal and cover the opening, drill some holes the same what your oil pump uses and put a little gasket sealer between the two surfaces
