Looking at a 99xcr 700 triple today, has 7k miles with allot of upgrades at 5k miles, owner says rings were replaced and cylinder hone was good. Just curious if anyone has any idea about how many miles you can expect to get out of this engine before some kind of catastrophic failure Thanks

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

Thanks, The sled is extremely clean and looks to be well maintained. I guess it kind of a crap shoot, Ive looked at quite a few sleds with engines that have been overhauled at various mileages for whatever reason.

wow i never knew there was a xcr 700 in 1999, let alone that polaris made a 700 with VES!! must be a pretty rare sled, never heard of such a thing. i love the 700 triple, and VES would make it better- i want one!
