Who has got their trail passes yet? I thought I heard something about an early bird special and want to know whats going on.

the early bird special is if you bought it before today, then your name goes into a draw for a chance to win free gas for the season. i think thats what it is.
and if you buy the trail pass before december 1st its $200, and anytime after then, its $250

1.) Orillia On (hour and 15 mintues north of Toronto)
2.) 1999 mxz 600
3.) ride a bit of everything, trails, hydro lines.
4.) interesting weather, every year is different.

I always purchase before Nov. 1st to get in on the free gas draw. I know I will be putting on miles no mater what kind of conditions are out there so why not save the $50 bucks. It gives you the chance at one of three gas cards. I believe they are one each of $1500 $1000 and $500. Don,t quote me on the values though.
1.Sudbury ON
2.08 700 Polaris Switchback
3.Mostly trails, some fields
4.Sudbury, Cochrane with relatives if I get the chance. sweet sledding there.

I love the sled. Had some issues with it last season but all covered under warranty. Never reaaly got a chance to see if things were working right as the warranty work was done somewhat late in the season. Hope for the best this year I guess.

1. Sawlog Bay on Georgian Bay
2. Use to be a 1999 mxz 600, might be on a XP this winter
3. All about the lake, shorelines, islands, and powerlines.
4. Our riding is great until it rains a week after a nice snow dumping.

Yeah the rain thing always sucks, and sometimes the random tempatures spikes. One day its -15 the next is +5.

For me the 700 is more than I need. My last Switchback was an 04 600, pretty much perfect for my riding.
I posted last season about the problems I was having. Almost every reply was positive, love the sled, engine etc. with no-one having problems. Great to get feedback even if it seems you are the only one with that particular type of sled having problems. Maybe I just bought the one that someone had a bad day with on the assembly line, who knows.

Oh ok, maybe someday I'll be able to afford one! Whereabouts do you live, because I know the 2004 Switchback 600 is a 144" and the 2008 is a 136" so if your in a place where the snow gets deep that would make a big difference.

Day trips on the trails... wish I had the time and $ for longer rides.
From what I have seen, Ontario Trails are great... can't wait to check out the Quebec Trails.

no we got like 3 feet of snow in one week(5 day week), on top of the already 3 feet of base we had. that was an awsome week, i had three snow days from moday to friday, and went sledding every day, in 7 days had 2 days of school, and 5 days of sledding, that rocked! And sorry, that pic of all the sleds was taken on December 9th 2008, NOT the 19th. Oh and i think the new sled is going to be a 2001 Polaris Edge-X 600.

Present sleds:

1998 Polaris Indy 500: red screens, red/black Sportech handguards with billet mounts, red C&A pro Razors with 9” sharpers, red gripper running board trim, red hyfax, billet pull handle, billet brake lever, silver front & rear bumpers, low black windshield, custom graphics, clutched (Primary: Polaris blue primary spring #7041080, 10m5 weights, sheave/belt clearance is set at .015''. Secondary clutch: 42/36 helix, SLP black driven spring), geared (dropped 1 tooth), 121" x 15" x 0.91" Camoplast/Polaris track with 96 studs, stripped warning decals, white-faced edge chassis speedometer & tachometer.(For sale).

Deffinately will not be dissapointed with an Edge, my dad owned one a few years back and modded the hell out of it and believe it or not he used to walk by those Ski-Doo Rev 800's like no tomorrow. Your lucky you get that kinda snow around there, where I am we don't get dumped like that!

Anymore Ontario riders? I have seen a couple more out there that haven't seen this thread I don't think. I haven't also seen many Ontario SF Group Rides, has there even been many of them?

Lets wait and see what kind of winter we get, then perhaps we could have a ontario SF ride somewhere not too far for all who are interested.

??? LOL, for me, last year at this time we had snow already, and now the lowest it's supposed to get during the day for the week is 8.
