I just bought a 2000 xcr 800 with a little damage than i knew about. The left front was hit but not to hard but hard enough to bend the exhaust on the pto side. Try as i may I cant get it to seat up to the head right. Cant afford new pipes and reasonably priced used ones I am seeing are hard to find. Does any on know if pipes off any other triples will fit?

I really doubt it, but I am not to sure.

I had an inccident with my twin pipes on my XCSP where they were dinted in, about the size of a soft ball. I was able to fix mine by cutting a hole on the oposite side of the pipe form the dint and then push it out. from the top it looks like nothing had ever happened to them, but if you turn it over there is the welds and damaged chrome underneath that no one sees. There are lots of other ways to go about fixing them as well, but this one just worked out great for me. I have yet to test and see if they both still work the same, but I would imagine that nothing has changed from the fix inside to affect the tuning of the pipe.

Pipes are unique to the 2000-2003 Xcr 800 in the Gen II chassis, no others will work.

It is the s curve and length of the pipe that isn't right. So I will keep trying to twist it around to get it to meet up right while looking for used ones.
