I stuck a broom stick through the clutch against the belly of the sled and then I got it off with a wrench, I just put on the old primary spring and it worked. So what do I do now? EPI sant me the wrong spring/spring is shot or something? maybe I'll call them tomorrow. what do you think?

Just called them, they told me to check the belt width and check the bushings in my clutch then if I still have a problem to call them back..

The spare belt which hasn't been used is the same width so I don't think it's the problem.

So where are the bushings? May sound like a stupid question, but I went through everything on the primary and it all looked good, nothing was cracked or worn and everything seemed to be functioning properly, I probably know what they are, just not the name of it,.

question when you run the sled does the left side of the clutch spin?(side that the re-taining bolt is on)When you give it gas the clutch does not come togther correct? I am unsure if this was asked.

put the belt on raise the track of the ground. have there kit in. wind it up until it engages or 8000 rpm. What does it do???

I did another cleaning and then let the sled warm up (I didn't let it warm up too much before because it's in the garage and then you can smell it through the whole house) and it worked fine. engages at 5000 rpm and stock engages at 4500 rpm, does that sound right? I figured I should double check.

The RPMs sound right...But I would still be a little concerned it didn't work before. Cleaning the clutch and letting the machine warm up honestly shouldn't have made a difference! Unless the cleaning meant an entire disassembly of the clutch, but I'm guessing you don't have the tools to do that. What do you think xcr440? I still think there is something wrong...just my two cents
