A few days ago I wrote about a low beam lighting problem I was having with my 98 SRX 600. The high beam was working fine but the low beam was very weak and I lost my dash lights while on low beam. After a lot of messing around with the wiring, I cut and jumped the green wire from the switch connection up by the switch to the headlight connection in the front of the engine compartment. The low beam started working just fine and my dash lights were restored. Now we know there was a short somewhere in the wire harness under the motor or somewhere close to that.
Thanks for the responses,
