a welding supply shop in town here had a bit of an incident today. some how a fire broke out in the warehouse where they store all the gas cylinders. some one was lucky enought to get some video (and not die) of it when it first started.

could have been alot worse, there was alot of cylinders that either vented them self's or didn't get hot enough to let go. just glad i dont live across the street from it lol.

I wonder what it was like for the fire firghters tat were closer to it.

ya that guy who got the video beat the first on scene fire dep by a few min. as you seen in the video the cops where just getting there, they ended up setting up a 2 mile perimeter in case some of the big tanks started to go. the department my dad is on didn't get called in until later when they where just hitting the hot spots that where left so he didn't get to see anything to good.

I can only imagine in that case. Personally I have been close to a 20lb propane tank going... That there is oxy acetylene tanks blowing up there. So yeah. Good call on backing off to who ever shot that... Glad that no one got hurt.

i guess the cause was a bottle that exploded when it was being filled. people are still finding crap in their back yards for it.
