this has to be the cheapest extremely nice car out there. 17MPG city, and 25MPG highway. with 364 horse and 350 ft/lbs torque.

That was sarcasm signifying that 364 horse is definately not a tortis like zecow said.

Looked at one this weekend. All I can say is wow, its beautiful. Fit and finish is superb, guages and egros are soooo nice, walking in and out is easy as can be. Pity it was on the showroom floor so we couldn't let the turbos sing! Then again you wouldn't be able to hear them anyway haha

I am not the biggest ford guy (even though I own one) but that is one empresive car. not bad to see 364 horse out of a 3.5. Now all they need is a race inspired 350 horse ford Escort.

That is very good, I'd say the new nissan maxima is pretty good too, a stock non-turbo 3.5 that pumps out 290 hp imagine if it did have a turbo or supercharger.

I've heard both ways from several people. There's good and bad in everything.
I had the opportunity to drive a 2009 Taurus with the standard 3.5 and tell you what, I was impressed with that, and it takes a lot from a new vehicle to impress me.

the naturally aspirated v6 camaro has 306 @ 29mpg. if the taurus has twin turbos, i would hope they're cranking out at least 360 horse, thats a lot of air getting shoved down the cylinders. Problem is, everybody has been blind to the fact that there are already cars out there with more horsepower and better gas mileage at the same time

I had a 92 SHO 5Spd, fast, comfy but a POS!! went through the Lemon Law with it, then like a fool I bought a 94 SHO Autmatic, 10 times better than the 92 but transmssion's couldn't hold up. If I had the cash I'd def. see if 3rd time could be a charm and try out a new one

Got any links to the camaro #'s. Not doubting just would love to see them.
eps/feds are cracking down on the power of these cars. Before long we talking about them instead of driving them. Doesn't the sho have the eco boost also??
