I may be giving up the Storm, dunno what it's worth. Has about 3400 miles on it, rebuilt motor from bottom end up, DG can, clutched, and in really good shape. I'd like to get $1600, think that's a good price?

According to Kelly Blue Book:

But what do they know?!?! If it's really as nice as you say, I think you could come close.

It's worth what ever someone gives you. No real answer. I don't beleive you will get $1600 as you can buy 01's for that price.
I just looked up some of my stuff,
wow their price are really off on some stuff.

Also the 750s are not as desirable as the 800s....you will be lucky to get a grand.

Just bought a running early 90s 650 off craiglist last week for 100 bucks. nice kevlar track was worth the Franklin

personally i dont think its worth over a grand. maybe 1200 at most (wedge body, 8-inch suspension, 16 years old)). but like xcr440 said, you can buy an edge for 1600. my dad just sold the popular 2001 600 xcsp for $1850 and a 2002 550 classic (with all the bells and whistles) for $1750. its also common to see pro-x's for sale for under 2grand.
again, this is my opinion, but you will be able to get more money out of it by parting it out. lemme feed you some numbers:
-i have seen the triple 800 with VES go for 1000 bucks no problem. you could sell yours (non ves) with the pipes/dg can for a grand.
-a perfect seat with no tears/rips is an easy $100
-a perfect hood with no cracks is an easy $100
-a nice track is $75-150, depending on studded/nonstudded, lug height, and how 'nice' it is.
-dont forget about the vforce reeds ($150), clutch ($100 tops), windshield, nose cone, and all the front suspension/skis
-those old 8-inch suspensions are $100-125, depending if the shocks are fox or oil.

1999 Polaris XC 500
-holeshot skid plate
-fox reservoir front track shock
-fox front shocks
-xenon low-beam bulb (very helpful at night)

Just add gas and snow!

Unfortunately, they're right... The sled is worth less as a whole, than it is in parts.

So if you wanna move the sled down the road, take less.. If you want more cash, part it out.

I have to agree with UOPK or you can just keep it and run it for the season. No gain, and no loss either - its up to you. WL

I saw your add on CL. You should mention it has 95 800 jugs.

Yeah, I put it on there. I'd trade it in a heartbeat for an enclosed trailer. I need to edit it and put the 95 jugs on it. If it gets any bites, great, if not, I dont have the 600 home yet, and another sled never hurt no one
