Not to be an a$$ but odds are you're not as good a welder as you think because if you were you'd probably be workin at LaBounty or Serco after school. Even welders needs degrees because there's still a lot to be learned. Find a school you like (Hennepin, WITC etc..) get your 2-year degree and THEN start lookin for good job. 	I know everyone is laying off. I grew up in TH and am back every few months and I've got family in LaBounty, Serco and SureFab so I know what's going on in town. This is why you need a degree in something. You're never going to get a decent job unless you can prove you know your sh!t. It won't cost much to get a 2yr degree from a local CC like WITC.
