Pipes - Will They Fit started by bklf7

	I got a set of twin slp pipes with can for a 98 xc 700. I was wondering if they will work for the 98 xc 600? Everything I have found points to that they will work. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Edit Topic

	They will most likely bolt up, but they will also most likely be tuned for the 700 and not the 600. 	Yea I'd check part numbers and definitely call SLP. They have a great tech line and would definitely have a different setup for the 700. As dtmmil said, they would probably bolt in, but the two engines would use differently tuned pipes. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. If there is any choice, overpower the problem rather than trying to finesse it. In poker, one Smith and Wesson beats four aces. In engineering, one positive fix beats four probables. -Raymond P. I asked the same thing a while back, and the pipes are NOT the same. I have owned a set of SLP twins for both the 600 and 700 big blocks, and the 600 pipes are even smaller.
