Vintage Snocross racing - What is the best pre '85 sled for Snocross? started by MotoNorth

	I know...I should be over in Vintage with this question but I thought if anyone has been at a snocross race where they ran a vintage class maybe you could tell me what you observed? This is new to my area this year so I don't know what would be the hot ticket. Rules are that it must be '84 or older and leaf spring front end. We will be on the same track as the big boys minus the big air jumps. I know most guys will be biased toward they're favorite old sled from back in the day but I'm looking for some educated observations here. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks. 	There is actually a whole vintage snocross event held in Kincardine, ON in January with a ton of different classes. Never been there, but it would probably be a good thing to look into. A good vintage racer would probably be a 1980 Kawasaki Invader 440 liquid. A family friend of ours owns one and he has it piped and clutched and it pulls like you wouldn't believe. Lifts the skis off the ground like its nothing. It's not what you drive, It's what drives you! Pain is just weakness leaving the body!
