Can anyone tell me wether or not a TempaFlow is worth it if I am not riding high altitudes? Most of my riding will be done between 100 and 600 ft above sea level. The coldest temps I ride in will be about -25F or so. I am new to jetting and I want to make sure I go the right route with it. Thanks

I don't mean to jack your post but don't see the point in making a new one. Anyway what do you have to do in order to put a tampa flow in?

drill vacuum line into carb drill 2 holes in air box, plumb it. jet for your coldest temp your going to run, normally -20f, adjust your baseline setting and go. It is pretty much a set it and forget it.

On dootalk.com theres a detailed installation of a tempaflow but its on a rev 440. It gives you an idea of what needs to be done anyways.

Are they reliable? Just from reading the instructions and looking at the pictures they look very fisher pricey. They look as if they would fall apart in the cold. Any way I am running a 00' xcsp 440 with a liberty 600 swap and an aftermarket can. I ran it all winter last year and didn't have any problems with it. The reason I am looking for change is because I am extending the track and I want to get full potential out of the engine. Also I just bought a 00' xc700 that I am going to be putting hot seat twin pipes and can on. This is the girlfriends sled so I want to make it as reliable as possible. The only reason for the pipes is becuase the stock can is rotted out and I happen to have a set of pipes laying around for that sled. All ideas are welcome. Thanks guys

very, I have ran mine 2 years on the 700. Takes a little tweaking to get it set but once your set, your golden.
No "fisher pricey" in the least, a very solid product, that works, no gimmicks here.
For the 700 to be very reliable don't put twins on. I understand your reasons but just sayin.
