WHAT TUNNEL PROTECTION IS NEEDED ON THIS 06 FUSION
- JUST STUDDED MY TRACK WITH 1.075 WOODYS/NEED TO KNOW WHAT PROTECTION I NEED?

HAVE 3 PICS OF NEW STUDDING ON MY 06 600 FUSION...JUST NEEDED TO KNOW WHERE DO I HAVE TO PLACE TUNNEL PROTECTION..I DONT FIND A FRONT BULKHEAD COOLER JUST THE ONE UNDER SNOWFLAP AS IN PICTURE....ANYONE?OPINIONS?DO I HAVE TO RUN STRIPS DOWN TUNNELL ALSO?BULHHEAD?

I can't really tell from your pictures but it looks as if there are build in protectors on the heat exchanger there. How high are those outer strips?

polaris makes a kit for the fusions, the only thing you need to do is put strips over your heat exchanger in the rear, the strips are a little over a foot long, they slide right over two strips on the outside of the heat exchanger, thats what i did to mine and thats all you need to do, the kit comes with two protectors rivets for yout snow flap and two aluminum plates to cover up slots on the rear of the tunnel, you need to take your bumper and snow flap off and you will see the slots that you slide the strips on, the kit is only like 30 bucks, real easy to do

aluminum strips on rear cooler are 3/4 high or deep...not sure if this is the protector or rail for the protector???...checked and no front excganger at bulkhead..i have the rad in front of bellypan nose

those strips are what the tunnel protector kit slides on inorder to install the kit you need to remove the snowflap and rear bumper then you slide the protectors onto those rails and rivit a small plate at the end so they dont come out and your done (besides re assembly)it comes with all parts needed

you need the heat exchanger protectors, i didnt have them at first on my sled, but after a few times of bottoming out the studs chewed up the heat exchanger
