I put a DG can on my Storm (factory triple pipes) for the track. I tried it on the trial once, for 20 minutes, then I got a headache. Just way to loud. Just something to keep in mind. It did lighten up the sled by 6.75 lbs though.

you wont need pipes on that sled. it comes with factory pipes which are tuned really good, straight from polaris.

-xenon low-beam bulb (very helpful at night)

I think I bought it for $50 CDN used in '97. I'm not convinced of the proposed power gains claimed but it did shed some weight. Like posted above, factory pipes are pretty good. I looked into the same thing for the Storm way back when and found very few after market pipes available and very short production runs (years). So I never changed the factory pipes. I figured if the factory got it wrong everybody and their brother would have made pipes for it. I'd say put your money into the clutching. Clutching is to sledding what location is to real-estate!

i agree with EarnhardtNorth. clutching is where its at. stock clutching is very lame, and kits are very easy to install. with a clutch kit and studs combo, you can tear up the trail. then add vforce to it and youre golden.
a can only gets you 5, maybe 10 extra ponies, and you cant physically notice the difference. clutching doesnt increase hp, instead it optimizes how you put the power to the ground, which you will definitely notice

woah^^^ theres no way a can gets you 10 extra hp. its below five, if its anything at all.. only thing you gain for sure is weight reduction and sound.

That sled does have triple pipes but they are not matched to that motor very well. They are actually the design that was used on the storm motors and they were just made to fit the 600 motor. Pipes would be a very good investment for that sled as far as power is concerned. You would prob gain at least 20-25 hp. But you also def need the clutching to go along with it. The pipes and the clutching are the two biggest improvements that need to be made to that sled. Do a few searches on SF about how to tune your sled. I bet quite a bit comes up.

SLP pipe, boost bottle, power packs, VForce, clutched, Ripsaw 1.25, M-10 susp, 2 in riser, handlebar hooks, third testicle, and good brakes.
