I really like the looks of it, and 136 is a perfect size around here.

The price seems kind of steep. I have seen stock 2005 Fusion 900's go for about $3500 on New Hampshire Craigslist.

Really? I didnt know that. I didnt really factor in the price of the rail and tunnel extension plus the track. I geuss that seems about right then. It looks awesome though.

price isnt too bad. i would be more inclined to buy if it were $4-4200 or so but thats just me. looks like a nice sled none the less

one of my friends has a fusion 900, its FAST!
i think he payed $5500 for it, but i dont remember what year it was. It had all the updates done on it too.

That's why they stopped making them so quickly after it's first production. Polaris even admitted to it. When they came out with the Rush, people were asking howcome they didnt throw a new 600 motor in it too. They replied with "We made a mistake in the past by putting a new motor in a new chassis"(Referring to the fusion).

I see your logic, but maybe he is just getting out of snowmobiling and is selling both his sleds with a different ad for his other one. Just a thought but you are probably right. Especially with the sled being a CONfusion

thats true I didnt go and investigate the website, maybe right under it is the the other sled for sale, idk but I would recommend TylerC to investigate so he doesnt get left with a sled that is going to break down 20 miles into it.

A buddy of mine has 3 of those 900 Fusions, all I can say is they eat belts for breakfest, lunch, and dinner, and for the 3211080, they are going for $75 and up. That is even with SLP new torque stop and mounts. Yes, they go like a raped ape, but his bro-in-law with a 600 Fusion and SLP pipe/can combo, runs up to 85MPH with him all day. Save the headache, get a 600 or 700 Fusion, they run with the big boys all day

so the 700 didnt have all the problems the 900 had?? i thought they were essentially the same motor except for bore size
reason i ask is cause im selling an 06 fusion 700 on minneapolis craigslist and im looking for good selling points because i havent gotten any bites on it. which is odd because it only has 2155 miles, priced at $4000, and the only other fusion that is priced as low as mine is an 06 600 with higher miles... all the other competition is 4500 bucks or more

my brother had an 06 700 fusion with a clutch kit. ran like a beast. no problems what so ever. he used carlisle xs809 belts and they always lasted longer than my 3211080 on my stock 02 800. my bro just sold his 06 700 for 3300$. it had 3400 miles and was a little beat up. track only has a year left in it and a couple minor crack on cowel and hood from a deer running into the side of his sled. 4000 is a good price i'm surprised you haven't had any calls. the only problem with those 700's is the vibration at idle.

yeah i thought my price is good, especially since now is the prime time to sell sleds. i mean the track on my is very very nice. i seen some 2005 900s in minneapolis craigslist be posted for 3500 or so and then they wouldnt be on a week later. but im not worried about the competition of the 900s being much cheaper than me.
yeah my sled has minor wear and tear, but its been fixed so it doesnt get worse. see ad:

someone please tell me if the price for it is unreasonable

i think that's a good price but i have to say. my brother could have just bought a brand new 06 fusion 700 for 5100$. he shied away from it because he was sick of the vibration. he bought a used 07 600 IQ with 900 miles for 4500. so that price could be a bit high? IMO it's not overly high, i think it's a good price, considering it has studs and an aftermarket windshield. that's an extra 3-400 dollars there. might want to go with 4000 O/BO.

alright thanks for the input. i'll see if something happens before thanksgiving. after that its gotta go. well my dad says hes sick of it being in the way lol. even though i dont need the money, what he says is what goes.
someone offered 3700 in august a week after i put it up for sale (originally was asking 4200). i shouldve counter offered him. oh well.

if you get all the updates done, lean er out a bit, and slap a clutch kit in there its a really fast sled.

before the updates it was a severe P.OS

true some did, but I've ran with a few of them and they thew belts just like any other sled that you beat the snot out of. The right wrench on anything can make it work just fine. IMO

Not to poke at the obvious, but I see you don't have a Polaris, so if you were to cut another brand up that is understandable. Just like Ford, Chevy or Dodge. I really don't care what anyone has, if they have the desire to have that particular sled then so be it. Just getting out and enjoying the sport is what it's all about. I chose my Fusion 900 based on price, previous owner and all updates were performed by a good well known dealer. And I've seen them go! As well as Kitty cats and Yamabogs, and Skiroo's! I beleave that if you spend $10,000 on a sled technology is so close these days that's what yer gonna' get 10,000 bucks of a sled that will loose 3 grand the first year you own it. Not triing to be abrasive, but there is a old saying "How fast do you want to go?" "How much money do you have?" Dependability? the same goes in that case. I don't care what you own!
ok, I'm done..
