I want to put a XC-100 skid from a 94 XLT into a 94 Trail that has a ITS skid. Can anyone give me the dimensions on the tunnel hole spacing for a a 94 XLT. I know a XTRA 10 is a better but this is a 1st sled for my Boy and I do not want to dump a lot of money into it. Thanks.

IMO it is not worth it. The ITS has holes and plates more forward toward the footwells. You obviously realize that you will have to drill new holes but you may have to move the rivited on plates as well. I tried to put an xc100 with fox shocks in a 93 XLT with ITS...using the existing holes, the rail tips would hit the drive cogs......I just put the fox shocks on the ITS and it made a world of difference. Its not like your gaining much travel in the exchange.

I've never had a ten But I've had 5 two's

I know it is your sled and everything, but there is really no point to doing this type of a swap. Your sled supposedly has 8 inches of travel now (I always thought it was actually 7.75" myself). You are swapping in a suspension that has 8 inches of travel. Either way, 1/4" more travel max won't be noticeable. I have no idea where the holes are located on the ITS, but the XC-100 and XC-101 share the same front arm holes as the early XTRA-10. I've heard only the rear arm holes are different.

I know it is not the best suspension to put in but I have the xc-100 on hand. The ITS skid is all busted up. I am not trying to get more travel, I am trying not to dump a lot of money into a 16 year old Indy Trail.I cant see spending $150.00 on a XTRA 10 for that sled even though it looks and runs good. Thanks.
