We have two Sabercats, mine and my fathers. Whenever you start his theres a vibration noise coming from... around the clutch area. You cant feel it just hear it. Its not a huge deal but Id like to fix the problem.
Its not the clutch cover.. It has the original belt. Other than that I dont really know. I havent looked into it much yet..just figured id see if anyone else had any input.

spring rattle??? loose clutch weight?? does cat still use weights with out bushings? loose bushing if it has them??
sway bar bushing rattle?? polaris had/has this issue??

Does it have Electric Start? i'm hearing a noise on our ZL 580 right now, and the Starter is vibrating. if it has Electric start, try holding the starter still, and see if that stops the noise. if it doesn't then sorry, i have no idea.
Why is Abbreviation such a LONG word?
Life is filled with all kinds of challenges, it doesn't matter if you win them all, just don't come in last :)

No Sabercat has ever had electric reverse.

No.. it makes the noise whenever the sled is running.. thats why I dont think it has anything to do with the clutch. and yeah.. no electric reverse on any sabercat. The one sabercats wth reverse are the LX's
