changing the chain case oil
- how do i empty it of the oil already in it?

i know how to check if i need to add some chain case oil, but i don't know how to empty the chain case of oil already it it. how do i do this?

either remove the cover or if there is a drain on the botttom remove it.
a good beer drinker isnt a picky beer drinker

there is this orange plasticy stuff that i believe is a seal for the cover. im guessing i cant reuse this. what do i use as a seal?

any type of gasket maker will work. Unless there is an actualy seal there and they added the gasket maker.

Use an automotive grade RTV sealer. The lube is basically the same stuff you would put in an axle.

I used my brake bleeder to suck the oil out of my chaincase. Worked awesome

Yeah I sucked it out and into a milk jug. It got almost all of it too, maybe had .5 oz left when I took the cover off.
